American Hotel Cards exists for one job: getting the right key card into a guest’s hand — one that opens the door reliably, looks unmistakably like your property, and doesn’t cost the earth to make. We started in 2014 working with independent and boutique hotels who were tired of generic plastic keys that clashed with everything else they’d carefully designed.
Today we supply RFID key cards in classic and eco materials — FSC®-certified wood, fast-renewing bamboo, recycled rPVC and rPET, and plantable seed paper — plus matching wristbands, fobs, sleeves and accessories. Every credential is custom-printed and encoded to the precise specification your lock system expects, so it drops straight into your existing readers.
Made for American lock systems
We’ve spent over a decade learning the quirks of the hardware on U.S. hotel doors. We make cards compatible with VingCard, Saflok, Onity, SALTO and every other major brand — across MIFARE® Classic, DESFire and NFC chips. You tell us your lock; we handle the rest.
Our sourcing & manufacturing approach
We work with established card manufacturers and material suppliers held to recognized quality and environmental standards. Wood is FSC®-certified; recycled plastics are genuinely post-consumer or ocean-bound; chips are NXP-compatible MIFARE®. Production runs through ISO-aligned quality control, and every order is proofed and tested against your lock spec before it ships. We’re an independent supplier — not affiliated with any lock manufacturer — which means we can recommend the right card for your hardware, full stop.
