About this site

American Hotel Cards is an independent supplier of sustainable RFID hotel key cards, RFID wristbands and related accessories for hotels across the United States. This website provides product information, compatibility guidance and editorial content, and lets you request quotes and samples. The site is informational; it is not an online store and submitting a form does not by itself create a binding order.

Use of the site

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable law or these terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers or connected systems;
• Introduce malware, scrape at a scale that burdens our infrastructure, or interfere with the site’s operation;
• Copy, reproduce or republish our content except as permitted below or with our written consent;
• Misrepresent your affiliation with American Hotel Cards or any lock manufacturer.

We may suspend or restrict access to anyone who misuses the site, without notice.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, articles, guides, graphics, photographs, the American Hotel Cards name and logo, page design and the arrangement of it all — is owned by or licensed to American Hotel Cards and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference (for example, to share a product spec with your team). You may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, sell or republish our content without our prior written permission.

Trademarks & independence

VingCard, Saflok, Onity, SALTO, Häfele, Hotek, CISA, Orbita, Messerschmitt, Kaba, Ilco, MIWA, dormakaba, ASSA ABLOY, MIFARE and DESFire are trademarks of their respective owners. American Hotel Cards is an independent supplier of compatible blank and custom-printed credentials and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any lock manufacturer.

We reference these brands only to describe which lock systems our products are designed to work with. Any use of a third-party name or mark on this site is for identification and descriptive purposes and does not imply any partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.

Product & compatibility disclaimer

We work hard to make our cards and wristbands compatible with the lock systems we list, and we spec the chip to your stated lock. Compatibility nonetheless depends on factors specific to your property — your exact lock model and firmware, your encoder, your property-management system and how your credentials are configured. Compatibility information on this site is provided as guidance and is not a guarantee that a given product will function in your specific installation.

We strongly recommend confirming compatibility before placing a production order — tell us your exact lock model, and request samples to test against your own locks. Because credentials are programmed and managed on your system, you are responsible for encoding, key management and the security configuration of your locks. American Hotel Cards supplies blank or custom-printed credentials; we do not configure or secure your lock system and do not clone secured guest cards.

Quotes, samples & orders

Information on this site, including any general descriptions, is not a binding offer. Quotes we provide are based on the details you give us and are valid for the period stated in the quote. Any order is subject to a separate agreement, confirmation or invoice between you and American Hotel Cards, which will govern pricing, lead times, payment and delivery for that order. Sample packs are provided to help you evaluate stock and fit and do not create an obligation to purchase.

Your submissions

When you send us information through a form or by email — your contact details, project requirements, artwork or other materials — you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. You grant us permission to use the information you submit for the purpose of responding to you and fulfilling your request. If you provide artwork or branding for custom printing, you are responsible for holding the necessary rights to it, and you authorize us to reproduce it on your cards.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete, current or accurate in every respect. Any product warranties are those set out in the separate agreement or invoice for a specific order, not in these site terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Hotel Cards and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) this website or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Liability relating to any product order is addressed in the agreement or invoice for that order.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless American Hotel Cards from any claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right — including in any artwork or content you submit to us.

This site may link to or reference third-party websites and resources, including lock manufacturers and standards bodies, for your convenience and information. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those third parties, and a link does not imply our endorsement.

Governing law

These Terms of Use and any dispute arising from your use of the website are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which American Hotel Cards is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the appropriate courts located in the United States will have jurisdiction over any such dispute, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and the revised terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
