How does a wood-bead wristband open a door?
A 13.56 MHz RFID disc is concealed inside the band, encoded on your own system just like a key card. The guest taps the band to the reader and the door opens — the same contactless technology, in a wearable form.
Are wood-bead bands waterproof for pool and spa use?
The natural beads handle splashes, rain and humidity well, making them suitable for spa, pool and beach settings. For fully submerged, heavy-water environments and cashless payments we often pair them with — or recommend — our IP68 silicone bands.
Can guests keep the wristband?
Many properties intend exactly that — the keepsake quality is part of the appeal. For reusable programs, bands are reissued and re-encoded between stays to control cost and waste.
