Overview
RFID key fobs and tags are compact ABS fobs and adhesive disc tags carrying a 13.56 MHz chip, used for staff, back-of-house and asset access on the same credential family as your guest key cards. American Hotel Cards supplies them encoded blank or pre-programmed for VingCard, Saflok, Onity, SALTO and other lock systems, so one technology covers guests, staff and equipment.
Not every door needs a printed card. Staff entrances, service corridors, back-of-house and equipment lockers are better served by a rugged keyring fob, and assets like carts, AV cases and minibars by a small adhesive disc tag. Both carry the same 13.56 MHz chip as your guest cards, so they encode on the same system and read at the same doors — one access technology, three form factors.
Fobs are molded in durable ABS to survive a keyring, a tool belt and daily back-of-house use, available in a range of colors for quick department coding. Disc tags are low-profile adhesive coins that stick to equipment and surfaces for access or asset tracking, and we also supply self-adhesive label tags where a printable surface is needed.
Because they share the credential family with your cards, fobs and tags fit your existing readers, encoders and access policies with no new infrastructure. They are the practical complement to a card program: durable for the people and assets that use a credential every day rather than for a single stay.
